The primary difference between a 40ft Standard height container and a 40ft High Cube Container is the difference in height of exactly one foot. The 40ft Standard Container is Length 40 Width 8 Height 8.6 & The 40 HC Container is Length 40 Width 8 Height 9’6
A 40ft Standard container has 2,389 cu ft of storage space on the interior, whereas the 40ft High Cube container has 2,693 cu ft of storage space.
